Fun and Informative!
The best part of this book is that it's like NO OTHER BABY NAMING BOOK you've ever read/looked at! It's so much fun to look through the book and pick out names that have personal meaning. For example, I've often thought about naming my kids names from nature, but wanted to stay away from obvious names like River, Leaf, Holly, etc. This book has an entire chapter of nature-related names, and a lot of great ideas I never could have come up with on my own. Other baby naming books are simply long lists of names, this one helped me narrow down the names and look at the ones that had special meaning for me.

Very helpful if you prefer to search by meaning
I have many baby name books, which I use both for future baby-naming ideas and for character names in my writing. This was unique among the books I have, as it makes it much easier to find a name based on meaning. If you find meaning equally as important or more important than other criteria, you'll find this book very helpful. I don't find any one book or website solely adequate, as there is always conflicting information between sources. I also like The Baby Name Wizard book to see popularity (based on the book's publication date) and cultural associations of names (something not often considered in books). In Baby Names Made Easy, there are 49 categories divided into male and female names with names ranging from the traditional to the offbeat. Each name is listed with origin, meaning, and related names if applicable. It's nice that names derived from other names are listed with their meaning so you don't have to search for the meaning under the original name's entry (i.e., Nicole is the feminine form of Nicholas, but you don't have to go to the male name's entry to see the meaning of Nicole). Overall, while I don't consider this an exhaustive source, it is a good addition to other books and websites.
