    King fans should read

I read this book about 25 years ago and I have re-read it since and will read it again I know. Even though this was Stephan's early work and he felt these books would not do well and that is why he released them under his ghost name. hey made me fall in love with his writings all over again.

It is too bad the movie did not follow the book "The Running Man" better, because the book was 1000% better. Sometimes Hollywood just don't know what is good and what should be left alone.

I found out of the four books in this collection was "The Long Walk" and I would like to see this one made into a movie, but only if they follow the book.

You will not be disappointed when you read these books.

    Rarity

Although I won`t gain anything, if you buy this book, I advise you to do it, if you`re a dedicated S.K.-fan. Why, you ask? The answer is simple enough: because one of the four novels, Rage, will never be available again, after this current contract with the publisher expires, and will never be re-printed, because of the school-shootings in the US a few years ago, where in one case the novel Rage was found... A sad story, but maybe the chance for you to own at least one book by S.K., which will be worth much in a few years.

Rage: By Stephen King- WONDERFULLY WRITTEN!!! CAN'T PUT IT DOWN!

Stephen King's first published novel was 'Rage'. It is a fictional story of a high-school boy named Charles Everett Decker. His father treats he and his mother badly, and Charlie is too afraid to fight back at the kids who make fun of him. One day, he gets mad at his chemistry teacher and attempts to kill him. Because of this, he received counseling, and became even more 'raged' because they treated him like a bomb ready to explode. He keeps a gun, matches and bullets in his locker. One day, he is called down to the principal's office for a counseling session. He gets mad at the principal, gets himself expelled just for verbal anger towards Principal Denver! He is told to go to his locker and collect his things. Instead, he sets the locker on fire, loads the gun, and goes on a rampage. The rest of this book is about the things said by the class Decker held hostage. Secrets are told, pasts are revealed, and murder unfolds in this spectacular horror story by the one and only, Stephen King. I enjoyed this book because of the mystery, the dialogue, the plot, and the way King wrote it. I give it 4 stars, only because Stephen King swore too much. The vulgar language sort of told the whole story. I think Stephen has the power to write such a great story without using such profanity so much. I recommend this to an audience above 14. No one younger than 12 should read this. 12-14 year olds must be very mature to read this, because of the major profanity, sexual intercourse, and violence.
