Where's the MEAT?
I have not had the opportunity to explore the vast reaches of this book. But every time I pick a new recipe from it... It is wonderful. The first time I went on the Atkins Diet, I thought I never wanted to see another slab of cream cheese in my life! Best Cookbook for Atkin's dieters
This is a very good cookbook for anyone on either the Protein Power or Atkin's diet. It has recipes for real food. Very detailed instructions and easy to follow. The food is just fabulous! Chicken with Mushrooms and Cream, Pizza, and Oriental Pepper Steak are our favorites so far. The carbs are not listed but the recipes are rated low carbs/very low carbs. It is very easy to figure out the carbs using a carb counter though and none of the above recipes I listed had over 8 carbs per serving. There are no dessert recipes in this book.
