Aheart pumping thriller

Feeling they have lost control as their sixteen years old child Anna continually defies them and breaks all their rules, the religious Wheelers turn to a radical solution. They hire ¿soldiers¿ from Camp Archstone to abduct their daughter and take her to a remote Bahamas Island for several weeks of boot camp. Anna thought her parents were too strict, but they seem permissive as she lives in a survival camp run in the strictest of military styles; insubordination leads to harsh punishment from the in your face 24/7 staff................ Anna fears her bunk mates whose behavior seems over the edge past sanity. However, her terror turns to outright horror when on a forced several miles hike up the mountain someone kills the leader; the others react just as frightened. Everyone panics with the girls fleeing into the jungle while deviant drug dealers pursue them with plans to rape and then kill the teens. To Anna the biggest fear remains her violent bunk mates who cannot understand teamwork is the only way to save their lives..................... BAD GIRLS is a heart pumping thriller that never slows down from the moment that Anna is abducted with the concerned unsure consent of her parents and never slows down until the final tropical jungle feverish confrontation. The story line feels like a gender bending Lord of the Flies crossed with female prison movies like The Big Doll House and The Big Bird Cage. Still this is an adrenalin action-packed tale with the audience rooting for Anna to survive her ordeal.................. Harriet Klausner

IT'S AMAZING!

Just read this book over a 3 day period. It's a great read! I could not put it down. If I could I would recommend this book to anyone of the age range of 14-18.

A+ Great read and friendly author!

I'm a Young-Adult Reader who thoroughly enjoyed this novel! Even though I read this book about a year ago, the plot and characters are still fresh in my mind. It has a very captivating plot that touches on alot of sensitive subjects. I really trust mtvbooks and love McAulay's other novel Lost Summer. I also cannot wait to read oblivion road! From reading Bad Girls, and Lost Summer, let me tell you that it is very clear that McAulay's style is very descriptive and interesting. I felt like I could see all of the characters and could detect their mannerisims. The endings of his books are fantistic and lead beyond the context of the climax which I really like. I wrote the Author some questions, thinking that he wouldn't never respond, but within a week, he had replied to my e-mail! he was very thoughtful and answered each of my questions with great detail, (as I had some questions with the plot and characters). I highly reccomend this compelling novel!

AH-MAZING!!

WOW... this is the best book i think I have ever read.Its so thrilling and intertaning. I also thought it was a little scary, but in a good way! I would definetly recommend this book to any teen. Is you need a great book to read this is definetly the one. You'll LOVE it, just like I did.

i only read books that are about teenagers and generally i would have given this book a glance and walked by it but i read the reviews for it and i read its summary and it looked amazing i read it and although it started out weird the book was amazingly written and i couldnt put it down i read it in a matter of 5 days its very well written but i think it ended weirdly, they should deffinately make a movie of it and a sequal.

Book Of the year!!

WOW! This book is written so well. I couldnt put it down I mean I finished it in two days. I hope they do turn it into a movie OMG that would be amazing!!!

AN AMAZING BOOK!

When I picked up this book, I thought it was like most 'girl' books. But I was completely WRONG. I was reading the book as if I was part of it. It felt as if I was in the Archstone camp, like I was there, participating. I could feel the pain, terror and disgust as I read. But I couldn't take by eyes off the book, let alone my mind. It was just an incredible book. The only thing that I didn't appreciate was the very L-O-N-G chapters...And I know if the author would have made shorter chapters it would have made a big mess. So if I were the author I'd keep everything in the book but just somehow move some things around to make the chapters shorter. YOU MUST READ THE BOOK!!!

Bad Girls

This book is amazing! And I've heard that it's going to be turned into a movie! which makes me really happy because after I read it I was like, 'WOW! this should be a movie'..and you'll probably think the same thing when your finished!

Bad Girls

i just finished it today and started it 2 days ago! i couldnt put it down and when i had to..i didnt want to..which is strange with me. i highly recomend this book! i just wish it had a second part! but this book is amazing.

this book is awesome!!

I thought this book was awesome!I bought it and i couldnt keep my eyes off it.its one of the best books ive ever read.if anyone is looking for an interesting book to read nonstop this is it.there is adventure,drama,flashbacks on romance with a teacher and an abortion and there are moments where you are DYING to find out what will happen next and a scene that was unbelievably scary.I would defanately recomend this book to anyone.I am definately reading more Mtv books and books from this author.

One of the best books i've read

WOW. This book was so good. i got it last summer when i first came out and right now i am reading it for the 3rd time. it was just a really good book. almost every part of it is very surprising. Anna Wheeler is a really cool character. The only thing i didnt like was the very end on what she did when she saw her parents. I would only reccommend this book for 8th grade and up. it has the f-word about every other page. so get this book even if you think it isnt something you'd enjoy because you'll be VERY surprised. this book is very well written and makes you use your imagination. i loved it and i know you will too.

BEST BOOK EVER!!!!

This book was amazing, its about a girl named Anna who is sent to this brutal camp of horrible events. Little did she know the horrible events were only beginning. You must get this book, u will thank me later!!!

Very unexpectedly good

My friend and decided to read the same books for fun. I'd pick one, then she'd pick one, etc. It was her turn and she picked this one. At first glance, I thought, Not ANOTHER survival story. But this book was so good, I couldn't put it down. There are so many twists and turns. I recommend this book for anyone. It was really good.

WOW!

I am not a reader at all, but when I picked up this book I couldn't put it down for the life of me. I had to know what came next. This book is really great and a suprise ending. Although might not be appropriate for younger kids, it is really good and I would suggest this book to everyone if you like the suspence, mystery, chick flick books, it is your book. I loved it and thought it was the best.

Fight for Survival

Spooky thriller about teen girls fighting for survival, and each other, after hiking 'accident'. Great characters including the queen-b**ch Kara. The book says its like Mean Girls plus Lord of the Flies on the back and that's about right. I read it in two days on the beach and now my sister is reading it.

GREAT PLOT!!!

Bad Girls is a story about teenage girls who were all sent to a camp, for VERY bad baehavior. But when the girls set out on a hike through the woods, the plot THICKENS!!!! The girls are forced to find ways of survival.
