One of the greatest wilderness adventures I've ever read!
'Baree, the story of a Wolf-Dog' is one of the greatest wilderness adventures I've ever read. Curwood's descriptions of the Canadian wilds are so detailed I can easily imagine it, even though I've never been there. The story is about a wolf dog that is separated from his parents at a young age, and learns to survive in the wilderness alone. Eventually he meets the fur trapper and his daughter, who Baree learns to trust and protect. This story just makes you want to keep reading it, as most of the chapters end with a cliffhanger, and as the story progresses the villain gets more persistant... This is a must read! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
