Excellent anthology for any Dickensian library

This book os a wonderful collection of myriad Charles Dickens stories, including many hard-to-find additions. Perfect for Christmas, or any time of year.

    Entertaining and Engaging!

I've always been a fan of Charles Dickens but have not read any of his Christmas stories. Looking at the cover I though this book would make a nice addition to my library. We read the stories to both the kids and adults during the holidays and the stories were quite enjoyable and kept them engaged for many good hours. I would recommend this book to book lovers.

stories for Christmas by Charles Dickens

This is great to give as a gift or keep for yourself. If you are like me and only know "A Christmas Carol" from movies and short versions of the story, you should read this book. The full written words of Charles Dickens when reading it give the reader much more enjoyment. There are other Christmas stories by Charles Dickens in this book as well and some of them I haven't heard of until I bought this book. Get this book and read the stories from time to time all year, after all it is Charles Dickens.

    I Also Recommend:

    Christmas by the Master Storyteller

Charles Dickens is considered the "Father of Christmas". This is due, in large part, to his voluminous outpouring of enchanting stories & tales about this long~cherished holiday. Chief among these, of course, is "A Christmas Carol". In this elegant volume lie Dicken's "christmas gems"; each is a treasure worth re~reading every holiday season because "It is never better to be a child than at Christmas!". Having lived a number of years in England I can personally attest to the enchantment encompassed in this group of Dicken's Christmas tales for the holiday season over there feels as if the time has never passed & all the sounds, scents & flavor found in these stories still lives.
