Please note that the book was written in England and that English people spell things different than American people. For example, they spell realize as realise, with an S.

First, I want to say that this is a great collection. It is absolutely gorgeous. The pages are of good thickness, and feels well made. However, there are many spelling errors to be found on those pages. For an in house collection from a large book retailer, you would expect that it would have never made it to print with this many errors. I hope they revise this book with another, better edited edition. The errors are inexcusable. Fix it, BnN!

I am pretty happy with this book overall. The artwork on the cover is really cool and it almost makes up for all of the typos. I know that the British spell things differently than us on occasion (Theatre vs. Theater) however, the typos go FAR beyond cultural differences and end up in the land of "Oops! We really should've caught that one!" I dare say that I have found more typos in the 1067 pages of this book than I have encountered in the aggragate of all the books I have ever read...and I read quite a bit. To be fair, I would recommend this book to a friend. I would give it as a gift. I would even buy another copy if something were to happen to the one I have now. I will be buying more BnN Leatherbounds. However, to be honest I feel BnN spent more time on the cover artwork than they did proofreading the book itself. I hope that the other BnN Leatherbound Series don't have this many typos; I would love to have them all. Typos or not, they look great on my shelf!

It's a nice book, but yes, there are typos. Someone mentioned differences in American and British spellings, and that is excusable. What isn't excusable is when a word is incomplete, or blatantly spelled wrong. If you look on page 125 line 12 it says "n" instead on "in". That is something easily spotted and it should not be there. The stories are good, the exterior is nice, but the editing is atrocious.

Nice books and all but I was very disappointed to learn that these books are manufactured in China and not the United States. But if you are one who does not care where things are made, these are fine books.
