This third entry into the Darklover series revolves around Lance

This third entry into the Darklover series revolves around Lance and Cindy. Cindy is a non-practicing witch living in the mortal realm determine to succeed in the corporate world. Lance is her co-worker but what she doesn’t know is he is a warlock and a cursed one at that. When Cindy’s friends set her up on a blind date little does she know it’s with Lance. What starts out as revenge quickly turns into something more and it may be just more than she is ready to handle.

I found Be My Warlock Tonight by Renee Field a quick hot read. The two main characters are really great and while we get a pretty good understand of why she is living in the mortal realm, I don’t clearly have an understanding of why Lance is there. Be that as it may I found the interactions between Lance and Cindy quite sensual and the sex pretty hot. There is some bondage including several various sexual acts unfortunately I felt the story was a bit heavy on the oral side. Midway through the first chapter I suddenly felt I was missing a piece of the book. As an ARC sometimes the books are not completed edit. However, I had my ‘Aha!’ moment at the start of chapter 3. Very sneaky Ms. Field! As I progressed through the book I encountered several interesting secondary characters. Little did I know they were in the first two books of the series. No I haven’t read them (probably need to rectify that) but I felt this book stood very well on its own.
I received this book from JeepDiva in exchange for my honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine and in no way was I compensated.
