My daughters smiled from ear to ear and hung onto every word of the story. When the girls start to become a little impatient, I now just have to say, "Be patient Petunia!" I love the fact that the story touches on the Fruits of the Spirit. The book theme of the most challenging fruit, patients is carried out through out the entire story, The illustrations are heart-warming and our family just fell in love with Petunia! This is the perfect book for those who have little ones!

    Great book!

Be patient Petunia, is a really cute and fun book with a great message. It is about a girl named Petunia who really has a hard time being patient. She rushes through everything and seems to never learn, even when things go wrong. It isn’t until the end when Petunia almost misses the sunset that she had been so excited to see, that she realizes if she gets up to run and explore and does not do as her parents say, she will miss out just like before. For the first time, she waits patiently and the reward is a great feeling of happiness and accomplishment. The illustrations are great, making Petunia’s feelings throughout the story really captured. The constant rhyming and repetition make it a fun and exciting read. Your children will want to read along with you, over and over again! I loved everything about this book. I highly recommend it for children ages 3-9.
