If you love Seafood, airy ocean breezes, the color blue and fresh market tastes, you'll love this book
A few of the recipes in this collection are things I'd never, ever eat. I'm always perplexed as to why celebrity chefs assume people have 7 hours to prepare a dish whose title alone would frighten the tastebuds off of many Americans. This book does however offer many fresh, clean versions of everyday favorites....crab cakes, lobster rolls, some fruity and quenching drinks perfect for the beach. Try the mini crab cakes with corn and cherry tomato salsa (now doesn't that sound like something you'd eat in an adarondack, toes dug into the sand?), or the fresh tasting, not too much mayo, not too little mayo, but just enough meat to satisfy even the lobster greedmeister in your family lobster rolls (try them on honey wheat rolls from Panera, wow!). I promise, with good old fashioned favorites like these, you'll be happy you added this book to your collection.
