    My daughter's favorite book

    My daughter loves for me to read this book to her almost every night.
    She loves the characters in the bear family. This book teaches how important it is to be careful even when a person is on vacation.

    A Blast from the Past!

    This is the Berenstain Bears, Old School style!

    I had totally forgotten about this book, but the second I picked it up to peruse it for my son (5 years old), totally excited me to be able to share this piece of my childhood with him.

    The more recent books seem to have a 'down home country twang' to them in how many of them reference the '...home at the end of the sunny dirt road...', but this one, this is from a different time period, and you can tell. The classic drawing, the rhyming narrative, no Sister Bear.

    This is a classic... and it teaches kids a valuable lesson: Learn from others mistakes, even your parents.
