Beat The Slots Who Knew??????
This book is a great starter for the casual casino gambler. It is easy to read, the font used to print the book is large and clear enough for seniors to view. This book is very interesting even if you never plan to visit a casino. It contains historical background of slot machine gambling, how the machines work and the new video games that have become very popular with casino visitors. The author explains in detail the different types of slot machines that are located in present-day gambling casinos.

I like that the author does not guarantee you will beat the slots every time you place your bets. The author, Marten Jensen gives reasonable and conservative advice on how to play the slots without losing your shirt but also how to preserve your winnings if you do get a "hot" machine.
I particularly liked the section written by the author that described when you would be wise to stay at a certain machine or when you should leave a machine. Another very informative section entitled "Progressive Slots" was a real eye-opener for me. The author clearly explains the differences between stand alone, local and wide area progressive slots. Any gambler who plays these machines needs to read this section of the book.
I enjoyed reading this book so well that I plan to give copies of the book as Christmas gifts.
