This is by far the Beatles best album. The original fab four consisted of Pete Best, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison. Pete Best was an incredible drummer that should have remained with the group. His powerful "atomic Beat" added a harder "punk" edge to the Beatles music. Once Brian Epstein stepped in as the Beatles manager, he ruined the band by softening their image for mass consumption. Pete was out and Ringo was in. They had lost their edge and would never be the same again. John Lennon once said," We were at our best when we were playing in the dance halls of Liverpool and Hamburg. The world never saw that." Well, with this CD you can experience the magic of the savage young Beatles !Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
