    Highly recommended

Great book, but have a box of kleenex on hand. Had to put it down and walk and walk away a few times. Emits a lot of strong emotions. Especially, if you are a dog lover or havea available senior dog. I absolutely love the reason this book was written and it has made me resolve to rescue senior dogs in the future.

Beautifully edited, well designed with high-quality printing, these portraits of life-long companions and family members at the epilogue of their lives is stunning. And deeply moving. We all like pictures of puppies, and stories of good dogs, but there is grace and profundity in these elders. Every dog owner should wish their friend could be so celebrated.

what a wonderful book! i recently lost Frankie, my fourteen year old schnauzer. Frankie was loyal and true, and to the end of his life, he was happiest sleeping under the dining room table at my feet. this book was the perfect salve for my heart, which has been broken since Frankie's death. the photographs by Garry Gross were absolutely stunning, and the essays were touching, and beautifully curated by author, David Tabatsky. i'm going to be buying this book as a christmas present for all of my friends who love dogs.
