    Interesting Read

This book left me wanting some of Suzie's blueberry muffins! I suppose that is a side effect of reading a short story set in a bed and breakfast.

Speaking of short stories, this one surprised me a great deal. The pace did not seem rushed, the back-story was explained to my satisfaction, and there was plenty of conflict as well as some hot backyard sex. Despite the fact there are three other stories in the this series you can "drop in" to this episode in Legend and not feel lost.

There was plenty of professional conflict between our hero and heroine, plus the history between them added tension to all of their interactions. It also added to the sizzle when they came together.

Our heroine appears accident-prone around our hero. In addition to an opportunity for interaction between Susie and Brad, it provides some bumps as bruises as well as a vehicle for a surprise for Suzie.

This is a fully fleshed-out story in a small package - perfect for lunchtime reading or waiting at the doctor's office. Grab a copy of this short story today, and enjoy yourself! Don't forget your blueberry muffin!

    True love conquers all!

    Review by Emmarae:
This is such a sweet story. If you've read the other books and been introduced to Suzie, you know she had a fling in the past. Now, we meet the bad boy who is the perfect hero-gorgeous, rich, has a plan, can cook, and he rides up on a Harley!

Suzie was my favorite character from the first book I read. And I love stories of past romances getting back together. Brett knows what he wants from the first page. He rides into town on his loud motorcycle and turns Suzie's comfortable well-planned out life on its head. And just when she starts to admit to herself that she wants a relationship, he goes and throws her for another loop.

But, true love conquers all-isn't that why we read these books? Both characters are completely believable, and we go through their internal battles with them. It's not sappy or overly dramatic, and moves along very quickly. Definitely worth the read.
