Good book if you want to learn by building circuits, but...
The title of the book is misleading, because the author wrote this book with a definite bias towards analog circuits. Besides a chapter on Schmitt trigger circuits, the book has are only two chapters on digital devices but includes chapters on power supplies, a FM receiver and a FM tansmitter circuit. The book has a few errors that may confuse beginners (e.g. the 9v input voltage is used for caculations instead of the 5v regulated voltage) and lacks waveform diagrams or pictures; including device data sheets would have been helpful, too. However, I did find the book to be helpful to fill in gaps in my knowledge. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
