Behind Palace Doors is the third book in Jules Bennett’s Hollywood Series. Victoria Dane is a member of the infamous Dane family. Her brothers are filmmakers while her mother is an actress. Stefan Alexander is Prince of Galini Isle and is soon to be its King. Victoria and Stefan have known one another since they were teenagers. They are best of friends. And what does a best friend do when asked the unthinkable? She agrees to be his wife in name only so he can secure the crown. But can they remain friends only? Stefan and Victoria have encountered so much during their friendship that this is the perfect friends to lover’s story. Even though they deny their love for one another, the tension is ever present. When Stefan does lie to Victoria can she forgive him? This is a fantastic book as we follow their journey to Stefan’s coronation. I highly recommend Behind Palace Doors and all of the books in the Hollywood Series. This is a standalone book but Ms. Bennett does treat us to glimpses of characters from the other books in the series.

Very good--Stefan, a long time childhood friend AND a prince must marry to retain his heritage, so he asks his best friend, Tori(short for Victoria). Victoria comes from the reknowned Dane family-full of famous actresses and actors.
At first, its just fun and caring their pretend marriage, then they realize how much they've cared for each other over the years. Happy ending. Loved it

Behind Palace Doors by Jules Bennett is a wonderful twist on the story of a marriage of convenience.

Prince Stefan Alexander must marry and quickly to secure that his family continues to reign on Galini Isle. He can get any woman that he wants but if it’s going to be a fake marriage he would like to be able to get along with his new bride. Stefan comes up with a plan to get his best friend, Victoria Dane to marry him. He has “loved” her as a friend since they were young and to him it would be the perfect match.

Victoria Dane the only daughter of Hollywood royalty has always had a crush on her friend Prince Stefan. Over the years this crush has turned into love but she has kept that little gem to herself. When Stefan proposes his marriage in name only, Victoria isn’t sure that this is the right thing for her. But she agrees and they start their married life together.

Spending so much time together has Dane and Victoria giving in to their sizzling passions. What started out as helping out a friend has turned into something that neither had planned on happening. Victoria has an uphill battle with Stefan he isn’t convinced he doesn’t know how love feels.

Both enter into this marriage they thought with their eyes wide but when love is in the mix all beats are off.

Behind Palace Doors is another sensual and delightful story by Jules Bennett. Her Hollywood series is a must read, it’s an added treat to catch up with past characters. This book and the whole series are keepers for me.

    I Also Recommend:

Stefan and Victoria have known each other since their teens, and they’ve been best friends for all that time. Stefan is a prince of Galini Isle and in order to become king, he needs to be married. The only person he can think of to ask this is Victoria, since he doesn’t want a clingy wife.
Victoria is a strong woman who has been burned by love before. I really liked her and her loyalty to Stefan. She dropped everything to help him with his problems and even agreed to marry Stefan in order for him to get the crown. Who doesn’t admire a girl like that?
Stefan is a renowned playboy who only loves his family. He doesn’t want love in his marriage because he feels love ruins everything that loyalty has to offer. I really liked Stefan (I mean, who doesn’t love those flirty, sexy bad boys?) and I loved his and Victoria’s relationship.
There was one part when I felt like Victoria overreacted to something Stefan did, but it was necessary to the plot and I understood where she was coming from.
I loved their flirty banter and I loved watching their relationship grow from friends to lovers. It was such a sweet story and I was rooting for them the whole time. Even though it could be considered short (my version was 196 pages), I felt it was the perfect length for such an amazing story. It didn’t feel rushed and there were no loose ends. Everything was covered and I almost cheered out loud when everything worked out.
I strongly recommend this story for people who love sexy princes, strong women, and an amazingly sweet story.
