great topic, bad ending

a really clever way to write about the Holocaust... you rarely see it from a German's point of view. a pretty easy read for a 6th or 7th grader. but bad ending, it feels like the author just got bored of writing 3/4ths of the way through and decided to stop :(

Behind the Scenes of the Bedroom Wall

Behind the Bedroom Wall By Laura E. Williams Readers interested in the past told by a child would enjoy Behind the Bedroom Wall by Laura E. Williams for 15.95, 1996, Milkweed Editions. This story takes place in Germany during Hitler's reign. It tells the story about how Jews were considered dirty enemies, and Korinna finds out that her parents are hiding Jews in her bedroom wall. Part of a very active anti-Jew group, Korinna is furious. Korinna hates Jews, but she also hates the people trying to prevent them. I would not recommend this book for kids younger than 10 because you must understand the time of the Nazis to understand this book. I didn¿t like this book very much because of some minor violence.
