Funny!!

This pregnancy book by Jenny McCarthy was just what I was looking for. It's hip, freah and new. Being pregnant for the first time is a little stressing but reading books like this make me feel better. Loved it!!!

Seriously not funny

I don't think this is the type of book we need right now. I'm pregnant and I picked up this book in hopes of laughing. Instead I was crying. I think if she just had better information she wouldn't have been so afraid to let go and let her body do what it was meant to do. Not wanting to poop on the table is one thing, but being happy about getting cut open is not funny. It's sad.

Entertaining!

My husband and I are going to start trying soon, and I bought a couple pregnancy books, including this one, to start our journey. This was my first read, and I am so glad it was! It's great to read something humorous about this whole experience, as usually you only hear the grim details! Quick read!

I must be in the minority

I bought this book because of all the great recommendations, however the book is definately overrated. I'm expecting my first child, and love Jenny's sense of humor so I was expecting to love the book. However I thought the book was kind of weak. Not a waste of my time, but perhaps a waste of money.

PREGNANCY SUCKS is much better

This one is OK, she just talk about her own experience. not many information about pregnancy if that's what you are looking for. The other book by Joanne Kimes, called Pregnancy sucks is much funnier and also have a lot of more information.

Naked or NOT

The premise of the book is great, but I don't think pregnant women need to hear about the pregnancy/ childbirth experience from a celebrity mom who's been through it all of one time. Truth be told, you will forget a lot of the 'nitty-gritty' and 'gory details' of pregnancy soon after your baby is born, and that is all well and good. There are other books out there that do a much better job of informing with mothers' memoirs that are honest and humorous, such as the book I've listed below.

Really funny and completely truthful book about going through pregnancy. Worth a read for any woman who is, was, or may become pregnant. Made me laugh out loud more than once.

Fun pregnancy book!

This was a quick, easy read that kept making me laugh. With all the serious books on how to birth & pregnancy do's & don'ts, this is a refreshing break. It allowed me to stop & enjoy all the unexpected changes in my body instead of obsess over them.

Great book!

This book had me laughing and looking forward to being pregnant, lots of humor and fun to read!

Great for first time pregnancies!

I really enjoyed reading Belly Laughs. I love babies and everything about them, I know how to take care of them but, this is my first pregnancy and pregnancy was like learning another language for me! or traveling to the moon... just a little scary. Jenny makes it easy to learn about all the things your mind and body go through while making it entertaining! I highly recommend it!

If you need a good laugh pick this one up

This book is hilarious. I read this one and Baby Laughs and it was a great escape during a time when I was extremely exhausted and adjusting to life as a new mom. If you are looking for scientific information then grab What to Expect When You are Expecting but if you just want to hear it from another woman's perspective then this is the perfect read.

Awesome Read

I read this book when I was pregnant with my now 3 year old and I found myself laughing out loud. It gives you a humorous perspective on pregnancy.

I wish it was longer!

I loved this short book so much ! I could not stop reading it , I loved how blunt she was . I felt like I was getting this advice from a friend .

FAVORITE PREGNANCY BOOK!!

I adore Jenny McCarthy! Once a playboy centerfold ballooning to over 200 pounds and not ashamed. I Its so refreshing to hear my exact thoughts put into words. This books helped me prepare for whats to come more than any other book. MUST READ!
