This is not biography but hagiography. As the editorial reviews

This is not biography but hagiography. As the editorial reviews state, Peres idolizes Ben Gurion and supports him in every decision. But the fact remains, however, that Ben Gurion was an exceptional man and an outstanding leader, not just of Israel but on a world historical scale. How many leaders had the intelligence, sophistication and will to create a country from nothing and then lead it into the future. If only Israel had leaders today with 10% of the honesty, integrity, dedication and intelligence of Ben Gurion so this hero worship has a basis in reality.

Sure Peres is often self serving in this book, but he too is a man of exceptional intelligence and contributed greatly to Israel's growth and success, so it is not hard to look past that. He was there early on and he provides a unique insight into the foundations and early years of Israel under Ben Gurion. Landau did a great job of editing there conversations and pushing peres to confront some of the less popular decision of Ben Gurion. Don't read this book as your only source on Ben Gurion and the history of Israel. But read this book if you want a fascinating look at the foundation of the country and the small man who was the giant leader that helped create the State of Israel. In fact, read this book even if you don't give a damn about Israel but want to learn about what true leadership entails.

It is difficult to write a review of an e-book that has not yet been released.
