Short Summary: First, Hannah and Abby need to find the perfect outfits for fifth grade graduation. Then Abby has to make plans for the summer. She desides to take swimming lessons and relax. But Abby's peacful vacation is disturbed thanks to some unexpected house guests. Can Abby's perfect summer be saved?

Realistic, fun books with a spunky, quirky character!

I love all Abby Hayes books, but this one is one of my favorites, because it is different from all the others. I love the quotes at the beginning of each chapter, and those quotes really sum up the events of the chapter. I think this book is very realistic and relatable. I think Abby has a great, quirky personality. I like how nothing is the way you expect it to be. You would expect Olivia Hayes' college friend Laurie to eccentric and artistic, like Mrs. Hayes described her. But she turns out to be a health fanatic and very annoying. The only issue I had with this book is that Abby and her friend Hannah go shopping alone at the mall, and they are only in fifth grade. I know that most kids almost finished fifth grade would not be allowed to shop in a mall alone, even ones that are very responsible. Otherwise, I loved the book!

    YAY, ABBY!!!

This was one of the best books in the series. It was a bit short but thats ok. The yearbook in was very intersting though it was not very realistic because it only displayed some students that were only in two different classes. This book is GREAT! ^^(2 thumbs up)

    Great series!

This is one of the best series I have ever read. Abby has always been so great to keep up with, I will never forget this series. Abby has been in 5th grade for about 4 summers, so this is a great change. I hope Anne Mazer writes more books in this series, and I am looking forward to them. I really suggest this series, if you want a good read.
