    OK, OK. You can talk all you want about yer Smiths and yer Joy Division and even yer Leonard Cohens about how well they convey pain and lonliness. Well, these jokers are regular Kathie Lee Giffords compared to the early Bee Gees. If you only know the Bee Gees by their upbeat disco hits of the 1970s, nothing will prepare you for the excessively depressive ballads that make up this CD. Every song on this platter is guaranteed to have you running for your nearest bottle of Prozac. (Or is that cyanide?) The tracks are beyond maudlin, but the melodies are quite beautiful and the lyrics are charming in a
