Charming account of this Irish family's French lives

Interesting read. Informative about rural life in France but some of the posts are statistic-heavy and I found myself in need of English translation every few pages

A cozy book about a real family that moves from Ireland to France

I loved this book. This was a family that had reinvented itself by moving from Ireland to Creuse France. The stories about day to day life in their home on acreage complete with llamas and other animals was delightful. The children were immersed in their new culture, attending french schools and taking part in events in their village. This story reminded me of "A year in Provence" and day to day blogging made me smile. This book will be interesting to people who love to travel and experience different cultures along the way. I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you Stephanie Dagg. I hope there are other books out there that you have written in blog form.
    Thanks from a California reader
