Unexpected Twists and Turns until the End!

When they say "what's done in the dark will come to the light", Betrayed fits that description. Setrina "Mimi" Bailey has returned to the town she fled 19 years ago without telling her best friend, Brenda Christianson, the reason why. The secret that she has carried all these years is bound to be exposed when her daughter chooses the same college that she chose all those years ago. Now what are the odds that your daughter and your best friend's daughter befriending each other? The two girls look so much alike that Brenda's husband, Victor is shocked. Once Mimi reluctantly reunites with Brenda, she knows that her secret is about to wreck havoc on everyone involved. Victor is so afraid that his secret is about to be revealed that he does unthinkable acts to get Mimi and her daughter to leave town. Victor threatens Mimi and his bizarre behavior causes Brenda to question the man she is married to. So when Mimi reveals the secret to Brenda, Victor comes unglued. When you think things couldn't get any worse, Mimi's daughter is shot. Who would do such a thing? This book has a lot of unexpected twists and turns and is a must read. Suzetta did an excellent job of crafting this story and you won't be disappointed. ---EbonyReader4Life (Circle of Color Book Club)

    Highly Recommended- a must read!

Suzetta Perkins has out done herself again. Betrayed does not betray its readers of mystery, suspense, drama, action, romance, and pain. Secrets and lies are the biggest characters in this book. All of the characters are caught up in the Drama whether they know it are not! Betrayed was an awesome read!!!
