Entertaining
Wasn't a great, can't-put-down type of book, but I wanted to see how the author ended the series. Entertaining read with lots of war action.

Recommend for Sci Fi readers
I am enjoying this series about alien invasions of earth, probably because the author is obviously from my area of Northeast Pa . All of the sites of invasions are from around my community, starting with the mansion at Harveys Lake, the area where the 5 armies battle took place etc,so that is probably one of the main reasons and I also enjoy reading about aliens.

Excellent reading
If you are a sci fi fan of the post disaster type, then this is a great read, as was the first book in the series. It has the typical SCI-FI elements but where the 1st book set up the stage and got the ball rolling, book II does more character development and adds another plot line or two where there was really only one plot line started in book I.

The author is doing character development at a good pace but keeping the action going along the plot lines that are developing well in this 2nd volume. I am really looking forward to the third volume in the series. -
