    A Mother's love and loss

Margarete Cassalina has embarked on the emotional journey of retelling her daughters story in a journal formatted novel. Her story is one of compelling love and dedication, unlimited devotion, and a touching sadness. I read this book in one day, and upon closing the cover, I have begun to rethink how I can change aspects in my own life. Margarete spent the majority of her motherhood teaching her daughter how to deal with life experiences, the power of strength, and unconditional love and support. What the novel reveals is the simple fact that Margarete was not, in fact the one teaching, but rather, the one being taught. I was truly moved by this story and feel so proud to know the author personally. Her personal triumphs are incredibly motivating for any reader.

    Power of the Penny!

I read this book in one evening after having met the author at a fundaraising benefit for Cystic Fibrosis. It reads as a personal diary into her angst, her anger, her faith and her utter devistation after losing her 13 year old daughter in the fight against CF. This book has long stayed with me after I put it down and find Margarete Cassalina to be a courageous and awe-inspiring speaker in the continuing fight against this fatal disease. It's nice to know Jenna is still very much here with us, as is proven in the power of the pennies. Read this book!!!<BR/>Brenda, New York

Love is what you feel reading this book

Every mother no every human should read this story. In so many ways reading this I could relate but most of the time I just could not even imagine. Imagine the pain and the courage needed to just face tomorrow.
