a must read, You won't be able to put it down or believe this true acct. actually happened. God Bless the Capozzi Family!!

...I knew alot about it being Al Capozzi Jr.'s best friend for the last 11 + years but now know just about everything...what this Monster by the name of Altemio Sanchez had done and kept it all under wraps for years! Just unbelievable, how despicable he turned out to be and how he had everyone fooled! Truly, a Must read! I give it 5 Stars for bringing it all to light for everyone to read. I just can't believe what this monster Sanchez did and got away for so long while an innocent man (Anthony Capozzi) sat in jail for 22 years!! (God Bless you always Anthony Capozzi and Family) Anyone who ever knew you, knew you couldn't have ever done what Sanchez did and got away with for so many, many years! Mary Capozzi's FAITH never wavered! You won't be able to put this book down! ...Mitch D.

This is one of the better true crime books that I've read lately.

This is one of the better true crime books that I've read lately. This person eluded police for over 20 years. Someone else was convicted and charged for some of his crimes. When he turned to murder, the authorities formed a task force and started looking at all of the back crimes. This book tells of the ties between the crimes and what was necessary to release the person who was already convicted. How early police work helped in the case was also pretty amazing. The DNA match that they used to get closer on the criminal was interesting as well. It also appeared that the agencies that were put together to work as a task force could have cooperated much better. I did lose sleep staying up later than normal to read this book. If you read true crime, put this book on your short list.

    Please read before you judge

When I first saw this book on the shelf, I must say I was disgusted that the bike path rapist was going to be "glorified" in writing. Born and raised in buffalo NY, I was not quite sure how this book was going to portray the city and the cities notorious killer.
However my mom bought the book and after she was done reading it she passed it on to me. Within the first few pages of this book, I realized that the author was not going to glorify the killer, not even close.
This is the true account of what happened during the bike path rapist's rein of terror, coming from those who worked closest with the case. The research done with this book is amazing. The author's style of writing will keep the reader hooked; this is truly a book you won't want to put down.
