    A Disappointment

I like a strong alpha--as long as the alpha truly loves the heroine. James Logan doesn't love his heroine; she is only a vehicle to his becoming a father. He doesn't even take notice of her in any meaningful way until after a friend has talked her into a makeover. James says thoughtless things such as how Megan was so sexy "now" (implying that she hadn't been that attractive to him before). Later, he tells her that he really doesn't like the manner in which they have been intimate (implying that perhaps he'd been merely tolerant of their lovemaking in the past). I found him thoroughly unlikable. The story also has a strange tangent regarding the heroine's painting that is never fully developed, unfortunately; it is the only characteristic that makes Megan even remotely interesting. The only thing that keeps this book from receiving a single star is that the writing style is good and the intimate scenes were appropriately steamy. Otherwise, this book is a pass.

The Billionaire’s Bride of Innocence is the third book in the Three Rich Husbands series by popular Australian romance author Miranda Lee. As Megan Logan lies recovering from a miscarriage, she overhears a conversation that shocks her to her core. Her seemingly loving husband James has only married her to have a family! But Megan finds she cannot deny her own love, or, for that matter, her desire when, three months later, James takes her to a tropical island for a second honeymoon.  The last of this series contains some emotional moments and a bit of melodrama as well as a bit of hot sex and features the couples from the previous two novels in the series. The main characters back story is a little clumsy, but the three couples stories are nicely tied up at the end.  Plenty of passion.

    Very excellent book

For those reviewers that said the hero was not nice and she a mouse were right. That is what the author was going for. Were they came from formed them that way. It also showed them growing and changing and learning to love each other. It was a beautiful story and very sweet as they grew closer.

    Bad

James is a jerk, who only cares for himself. Only falls for his wife because of a makeover. Meghan should have left the jerk and never looked back. Not even a star. No stars. Don't waste your time.

Wow, this kept me wanting to read the last chapter-check it out

Miranda raised so many irritations with real life's over working of thought. She proves thinking overtime can cause much suffering as in this book. Have known people who love to suffer and this touches it. It keeps you wanting and wishing throughout. It proves facing realities pays off in the end. Yes, the last chapter is great and was worth every minute of the irritations.

    not my favorite

I usually love this type of story, but did not like the miscariage, and did not like the massive amounts of diception such as the birth control. I gave it 3 stars becasue the writing was great and I did like the strong hero.
