    Easy & quick identfication

    This book is great for quick identification of most Illinois birds while the details are fresh in your mind. Not all birds are included, but 95% of the birds I see are in this book. Good tips to help with identification.

    Wonderful!

    This book is so helpful for the beginner. You match the dominant color of the bird with the color tabs on side of pages to start your search. Such a simple idea, but makes a world of difference!

    Great for a beginner birdwatcher

    This book has great pictures and good tips about the birds. Particularly good for people just getting started in bird watching, but the pictures make it great for everyone. This is the most complete book on all of Illinois that I have found.
