Fascinating, behind-the scenes telling of both the rise of the iconic brewery and the family behind it. Anyone familiar with the Busch saga will be enthralled to discover what really happenedt over the past 50 years. Several family members and former executives granted interviews to the author which gives Bitter Brew an authenticity that previous books lacked.

    Fascinating

The author brings you through the great successes and failures of the Busch family, culminating in the shameful insistence on handing the reins of AB over to an unprepared and unfit son.

Excellent book about the founders of the most famous beer family

This book is not only well written but it is a history of this famous beer family. It is also a business book which shows how to run a business and what can bring down a business. Easy to read and highly interesting.

Interesting insights about the Busch family and all their many warts. Also quite telling about 3G the company that bought them out. Watch out Heinz.

    Incredible History

Amazingly tragic story about the rise and fall of an American legend.

A book I read at every waking moment, I just wish there were a few more photos, but don't miss the handful at the end.

I recommend this if you enjoy some American history lite mixed in with some pretty wild family drama. Interesting contrast between how business used to be done and now. This book is an easy, very entertaining read.
