Couldn't put it down!

I was bored with College text...reading what I had to, and didn't care for. I picked up Anne Stuarts: Black Ice, and then I didn't put it down until I had read the last words!! I loved it! The sexual tension, the twists in the plots, the characters...all were amazing!...

Black ice i s a good story. I liked the plot. There was a lot more action in this novel than in other novels by stuart. I thought that the main character, Chloe, was okay, I'm not sure if i liked her too much. I thought that Bastien was great. Overall there was enough action and romance to make the story interesting. I like Stuarts novels but they all seem alike. The female characters are always slim with long legs and perfect bodies. The male charcters are always tall dark handsome. After the climax in each story, the men always have to go away for a while to sort out their issues. Theres nothing wrong with that, but it does get kinda boring after a while.

    Easy To Skip Over.

I'm a Anne Sturt fan, but this book was just too hard to believe with characters too hard to like. First of all the main female hero was too young and unbelievable. She wasn't even likable. The male hero was a bit too far out there with violence and emotional hardness. Next the violence and death was simply too much and too hard to believe. This is a book of extremes, and totally unrealist even for a fiction story.

    I'd say 2.5 Stars

Black Ice was an interesting story with well played bad guys, but my biggest problem with the book is that it just didn't seem to fit. Chloe and Bastien just didn't work well. Bastien didn't seem to care enough and though the author made it so that he showed he loved her by keeping her alive that just didn't work for me. Chloe just seemed so stupid in the face of danger, but her side of the romance seemed to show somewhat. There was suspense for sure, but it wasn't well balanced when it came to the romance. Sorry.
