Black Lion's Bride
I have read all of Tina St. John's medieval romances and this is now my favorite of them all! Maybe it was the Holy Land/Crusades setting which is generally reserved as background in other medievals. I felt like I was there in King Richard's army camp at the old Ascalon palace. I could feel the cool tile floors and the open air courtyards, the terrace on the roof that was Zahirah's favorite place to be alone, and there was the steamy bath house where she walks in on Sebastian. (Ooh la la! Loved that scene!) The whole book was like a breath of fresh air. The story hooked me from the very first page and didn't let up for a second. It's romantic, exciting, HOT, and not to be missed! I can't wait to see what's next from this author.

Black Lion's Bride
I had never read this author until this book but she is now on my auto-buys list for sure! Black Lion's Bride has everything that I love in a romance and more. IMHO, Chapter 17 alone was worth the cost of the book! This is one book you won't be able to put down.

Black Lion's Bride
After getting this book from a friend who read it and raved over it, I am now adding my praise to Tina St. John. She takes the enemies-in-love theme to the Holy Land and weaves a touching, fast paced tale of forbidden love that had me prying my eyelids open for most of the night just to keep reading. I had to give the book back to my friend when I was done but I bought one here just for me! :-P I'm sure I'll be reading it often.

Black Lion's Bride
In this enchanting new romance by National Readers Choice Award winner Tina St. John, no one is what they seem--and love is more dangerous than any could ever imagine....
Daughter of the King of the Assassins, Zahirah was trained to be as deadly as she is beautiful. When she steals into the desert camp of the English army, she has one goal: to banish the crusaders from her homeland by murdering King Richard the Lionheart. Her deceptive strategy delivers her into the hands of the enemy--and puts her at the mercy of the dashing Black Lion, Sebastian of Montborne.
Fighting for peace in a dangerous, exotic land, Sebastian never dreamed that the tides of war would bring him a mysterious beauty in need of his protection. Nor could he guess that the lady who ignites his heart is the very enemy he has sworn to destroy on behalf of his king. Caught in a deadly game of passion and deception, their unbidden love could cost them their lives....
BLACK LION'S BRIDE is an excellent medieval romance by one of the genre's rising stars. Riveting action, heated sensuality, an exciting plot, and strong emotional characters that live and breathe like real people make this a medieval romance that stands out. The unusual setting of the Holy Land during the Third Crusade is also a nice added touch that only adds to the book's appeal. Highly recommended romance!

Black Lion's Bride
This was an enchanting medieval romance by one of my favourite authors. In BLACK LION'S BRIDE we meet up once more with Sebastian of Montborne, the noble earl who, had fate (and true love) not intervened, might have married a sheltered young heiress in the prequel, WHITE LION'S LADY (which was also wonderful). Instead, at the close of WHITE LION, Sebastian joins King Richard's crusade in Outremer, where he finds adventure, passion, and a deadly lady named Zahirah. It was utterly enchanting watching the passions rise between these two unlikely lovers! For the day and a half it took me to read this book (alas, I had to work sometime!) I was held in thrall completely. A wonderful book that kept me guessing, indeed, kept me glued to the pages until, regrettably, I turned the last one and reached the end. I'd give this novel ten stars!
