Loved it! Sam is a balls to the wall fighting machine and she takes no crap from anyone, just because she is a women. When she is enlisted to help rescue a prisnor of war she excepts. Three miltary men enlisted as well and as team they head out to war. Kong and Sam have a strong connection to one another that neither can deny. With so much on line they have to trust one anothers abilities and come together as a team so they can defeat the terroist group. The relationship between them and the other team members is fantastic. With Sam being a loner having those she can call friends means more to her than they know. This funny and heartwarming. Cant wait to read the other books in the series.

Um...I don't like berating books but... This one was the first story I've read that EVERY character's point of view was used. Not only within a scene, but within paragraphs! Sometimes I had no idea who was speaking or committing an act. Poor punctuation came in at a close second. I did like the heroine. She was tough. The hero was typical when falling in love. Nothing special. Hard-headed. Circumstances of the plot were pretty good and adventuresome. I wish I could give a better rating, but the story didn't warrant one.
