'I received a copy of this book through Netgalley from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review'

Piper went on vacation and had an amazing one night stand but now it's back to reality. She's back home in Colorado. At home waiting for her is a pregnant cat, a pregnant sister and a bunch of bills. Her business isn't doing as great as she would like so she has to get a temp job to pay the bills. Out of the blue she starts getting hounded by her one night stand. Then gets a shock when she realizes her new boss was her one night stand. Matt. Next thing she knows he is blackmailing her into being his poster girl for his new beer. Which happens to be pink. She really hates pink.

Matt wanted more then one night with Piper but when he woke up she was gone. So as he is getting information on her to find her he goes home. He has a new beer to launch so it's back to work. Then a temp makes some pretty big mistakes. He is delighted to know that it is Piper as this will work out in his favor. So he blackmails her to be his poster girl for his new beer and into spending time with him. She wants it to be business only but he intends to change her mind.

Will they be able to get past all of their issues and work through their differences?

My Opinion: I thought that this was a great book. I think they both had some issues to deal with. Piper had a crazy ex and Matt had family issues to work through. I thought that it was nicely written. I found it to be a funny twist that the one who has everything is the one who blackmailed the one who had nothing. I will definitely read more from this author and would love to see what other books will be in this series. I definitely suggest reading as it is a fun read.

Our sassy, red headed, green eyed heroine orders "a slow comfortable screw up against a hard wall with a kiss" from our yummy, tattooed, sexy bartender and their worlds will never be the same again!

Piper Reilly has a super busy and confusing life with her pregnant sister, her newly found pregnant kitty and growing business, Silver Bells and Conkle Shells. She makes unique jewelry out of precious metals and shells, that she goes to the beach to collect. Not so easy when you live in Passion Creek, Colorado, the wedding capital, so on her latest trip to Florida, her world "slams bam, thank you mam" into a sexy one night stand.

Matt DeLeo is a self-made billionaire, who made billions in his IT company, sold it and now owns the Passion Creek Brewery. He loves to bartender to keep in touch with his customers and that how his world was shaking and not stirred by a fiery, alluring, red head, green eyed Tempest!

Matt is so in lust with this Piper and he will do anything to keep her, for awhile, but when he goes back to his apartment, Piper left him instead. Piper is hung over, can't find her panties, is running late for her plane, just had the most awesome sexy of her life and her flight instinct kicks in and she flees. Now Matt is a powerful billionaire, and he uses all his connections to hire Piper as a temp at his brewery and totally blindsided poor Piper and her life. Piper is blackmailed into accepting being the new Face of PCB, must be his pretend girlfriend for promotions and media and she counters with NO SEX!

Piper and Matt go on a sexy, tempting, powerful and incredible journey that has amazing, earth shaking and "pull the fire alarm" sex in all unique and creative ways and places. Piper carefully constructed life begin to slowly dissolve under Matt's toe curling kisses, yummy, tattooed and super hot body. Matt perfectly singular life is ripped apart by Piper's warm and caring heart. Of course every struggling couple needs a little help, so a pregnant kitty with a serious 'tude with a broken tail, a broken down car, a vet trip, a stalking ex, lots of missing Undies, an endless limit company credit card, passionate locations and "steamy up my Kindle" sex begins these two to their knees. Hearts over flow with unwanted love and screws up with Matt's priorities and Piper is drowning in love for this loner of a billionaire. Will Matt see that love enriches your life? Can Piper turn off her heart before it's stomped on? Can Matt ever put down roots and stop being the lonely and unwanted boy? How long until these two embrace and enrich one another's hearts and lives? How many kittens will Aspen have?

This is my first Rachel Lyndhurst romance and damn, this chick ripped out my heart with her moving and loveable hero and heroine. Matt has 3 S's in his life, sexy, stubborn and solitary. He doesn't want a home or things in his life because he might actually feel. Piper is a crazy and kooky heroine with her fingers in multiple pies and can never say, "NO!" to her slightly off family. Ms. Lyndhurst throws these two into a steamy, yummy, turndown the A/C, fire extinguishers worthy passionate universe and love blossoms between them. She gives her characters real world problems and slams their faces into them and they have to adjust and adapt. Ms. Lyndhurst blew up my contemporary romance diet with her fun, witty, smart characters and her amazing, fun and a slightly sleazy mind. She earned my score of 4 fingers ups and 8 toes.

NatGalley ARC given for my honest review.

I found this book a bit refreshing. Guy actually wants more from the woman who hooked up with him; woman deliberately goes out for a one-night stand? I was amused by Matt's blackmail of Piper. And c'mon, let's face it...pink beer?! Pink. Beer. Beer that apparently tastes good (can't personally imagine it, buuuuut...)

I enjoyed watching Piper as she got caught up in Matt's world, and as she tried to figure out what life she actually wanted (along with dealing with her sister's issues). She has a great business, but with Matt's help, it could become extraordinarily successful. I admire her for wanting to go along with it.

Matt. Ahhh, Matt. Pink beer. Who'd have thunk it? Anyway, enough with my pink-beer fascination. Matt really matured. He wasn't a child, or even immature, but he really grew over the course of the book, finally figuring out his place in the world, accepting who and what he was (it's complicated, but led to a great grovel/reunion scene). I loved watching Matt go from the man who chased Piper...but didn't want commitment or to remain tied to any one location...to the man who actually deserved a sweetheart like Piper. And, along the way, he helped her to see the flaws in her own life.

I enjoyed these two and hope to see more featuring this little town in Colorado (and props for the Sanibel Island reference - Sanibel's gorgeous!).

    Four gargoyles without reserve.

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Sometimes you just want a light, fun read and that’s what this is. Piper is a fun person, loyal to family, hard-working and just out of a breakup...though as her friends tell her, she should have left Stanley ages ago and not waited til he dumped her for a younger model! Her ex is a real jerk, always belittling her in front of others and it makes you wonder why they ever got together. Seems he was different then. In comparison new boss Matt is Hot, scorching, sizzling, flaming and after their one night stand on holiday when she left without leaving contact info he's delighted to find her as his temp...he wants more time with her and quickly “persuades” her to work closer with him for the next few weeks. He doesn't do relationships, doesn't want permanence but does want to get Piper out of his system. She has to agree, really hasn't any alternative but stipulates business only... but she too struggles with the sexual tension between them, and from a very brief hands off stance they quickly get to lots of sensual, erotic sex, and of course all those feelings they told themselves they wouldn't develop do...
So there they are having a great time, in and out of bed and then its time up...and what happens next? Hidden feelings, heartbreak and tears...
Well, its a fun read, easy to follow, no deep dark dramas but enough plot to keep things interesting, and its a book I enjoyed though not one I’d re read.
Stars: Four, a great one off read, fun and sexy.

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beerholder (I am so sorry, feel free to groan or throw things at me) but Matt DeLeo? Oh I'd happily share a pint or two with him. The man is a treasure. And whilst he may rock in a suit, underneath is just as enticing...

Rachel Lyndhurst has brought us a sweet and sexy romantic journey with a couple to fall in love with in Blackmailed by the Billionaire Brewer. Piper Reilly has a one night stand in Florida with a hot tattooed barman, her conquest finds his bed empty the following morning and is non too impressed. When he returns home to Passion Creek, he discovers his newest member of staff is she who left him and, being the opportunist he is, Matt uses it to his advantage. He needs a beautiful lady to front his ad campaign for his new brew and Piper is the lady. And he has no aversion to using blackmail-like tactics...

I will admit that both Piper and Matt surprised me with their character traits; she is feisty, independent and stubborn and whilst wealthy, he is surprisingly unaffected, thoughtful, tender and witty. Uncomplicated, it's low-angst, fun, touching and steamy and Matt & Piper were as infuriating as they were endearing. With their banter they had a fabulous chemistry and whilst I would've liked a little more detail in the month they spent together - there were a couple of little skips in time - it had a cracking ending and is a book I'd recommend.

(This is the the third book in the Passion Creek series; the first written by Inara Scott and second by Victoria James, but this can easily be read as a standalone).
