Read this!
The Bleach manga series is far and away one of my favourites. The plot is great and you cannot help but to be drawn in by the well thought out characters. The box set is wonderful because you can catch up to the manga quickly and you'll want to read it over and over again. I definately recommend this to all manga fans and even to people new to manga.

A fantastic story!
BLEACH is definately one of my favorite manga series. I haven't been an anime/manga fan for long but I can really lose myself in this series. The art work is beautiful, the plot is interesting and original, the characters are realistic and lovable, overall a fantastic series. If you've seen the anime you really need to read these manga. They are very alike, but there are many more details in the manga that aren't able to be included in the anime. Thank you Tite Kubo for this fantastic series.

Great manga!
If you are a fan of manga, you really should read this. It is one that is ok for the young and the old alike. I never was into manga until my daughter brought this home and once I read through the first one, I was hooked. I got this set for me but I do share it with my kids. Because of these, I now own the anime with the same title.
It has eveything you need to be complete: comedy, drama, friendship, even a little confused romance. I love how the good guys do end up winning, even though you wonder if they will in the midst of it.

A Great Buy!!!
Not only a great price for all books but a great manga series. All books are interesting and very enjoyable! I, myself, love reading Bleach and watching the anime and would rate it at the top of the 18 manga series i read! The series has action, love, betrayal, honor, and definelty friendship throught all the volumes in these set and the rest of the series!

The beggining in one hell of a package.
this set concludes the first portion of the series and is a amazing read for any action-sword fighting fan that while there is butt kicking action there are comedic scenes and charachters that help lighten moods and set the right atmosphere. one hell of a plot that keeps you guessing with unseen twists that make you want to read more. it is a great investment.

Excellent Fantasy Series!
I've been an avid fantasy reader for years, though up until now I've mainly stuck to traditional novels rather than manga. Out of all the books I've read (both manga and traditional), Bleach is one of my all-time favorites. It has everything a great story should have--humor, action, drama, an excellent plot, and unforgettable characters. The only downfall is that the story takes a long time to get going; the main plot doesn't kick into gear until the 11th volume. Just about every character in the series has a backstory and internal conflict, making each one an individual who stands out from the rest. The plot is just as impressive; for those of you who are worried that Bleach is all-action and no story, you have nothing to worry about. The plot is compelling and original, filled with tons of clever plot twists and subtle foreshadowing. This is one story that will definitely suck you in and leave you breathless by the end. Even if you're not a fan of manga, I highly recommend reading this series (or watching it--the anime sticks very close to the manga). It's by far one of the best fantasy stories I've read in a long time.
