Worst Book Ever
This book is totally pointless. There is no story line what so ever. I waited for something to happen and it never did. I would not recommend this book at all!

Read it
I just came from the petition page and thought I'd write a review of this amazing novel that needs a sequel. I loved it. It gave me a lot to think about. Sadie was my favorite. I felt for her. I also like the whole love story with sean and nicole and kelly. Great book.

Very Disturbing Book
I really liked Laurie Faria Stolarz's "Blue is For Nightmares" series but this book creeped me out. It was disgusting and after the first few pages I couldn't read it ay more. I also don't reccomend it because it was not as wee written as her other books.

great
this book needs to be read over and over to understand the themes here. There's so much going on, you just might miss it if you're not paying attention. I was riveted.

in a word spectacular
This has to be my favorite of all Laurie's books. If you're too young to read it, turn away, pick something else. It isn't what's on teh surface that's the greatest here, it's what's underneath. Seriously, I've read this book at least 12 times and I find something new each time. I cry, laugh, get angry, feel all sorts of emotions with each page I turn. Love, love, love it!!!!!

probably one of the worst books i've ever had the misfortune of reading
i was greatly disappointed with this book. i bought it because ive heard how spectacular this author is. by the first chapter of this book, i was sooo disgusted and disturbed, i could barely even finish it. basically if you want a book that's just about different people wanting to have sex, then read this. otherwise dont waste your time on this horrible book. i dont mind things usually when it comes to sex scenes and what not, but this was just awful. everything grossed me out really super bad.

Something Different...
I was looking for something edgier to read, and this was definitely it. Stolarz did an excellent job of writing believable characters and placing them in situations that are realistic. I really loved how all characters were connected and it was interesting to see what each person really thought of the other. The ending bothered me, since there were so many loose ends that weren't tied up. Unless she plans on writing a sequel, the open ending is pretty irritating. I wouldn't recommend the book for immature or younger readers, since it is pretty graphic. Overall though, I think it's worth the read; it's something different.

Alot of people didn't like this book, but I absolutely loved it..Especially the last chapter which was in Sean's point of view...when he finally realized what was in front of him all along...omqq..I absolutely fell in love with this book..and I disagree with the other ppl who wrote a review saying they hated it...I don't think I wasted my money..n i loved most of the characters especially Nicole, Maria, and Sean...

Bleed
I read the book description on the authors web and thought ok she did a good job with the Bue is for Nightmares series, I figured I would give this one a shot and see what I thought. It was way to sexual. After the first chapter I didn't want to read it anymore but continued just to get the whole story. There were only two good chapters and those were Sean's and Nicloe's. I gave my friend the book and she read it in a day or so and loved it. I do see what the author is trying to get across but think that she could have done it diferently.

It's very different but really good!
my friend had recommended the book to me saying that it was a must read. i agreed. There'd not much of a story line to it, making it different, but it's still good. it's funny in some parts. It's a little suspenseful but not like her other books. it was very interesting though how the characters interacted but their stories never really overlapped, but you find out their relations and what they have in common.

Who knew that in the course of one day so much could happen, not only to you but to everyone around you. But of course in real life, we only witness what happens to ourselves. Laurie Faria Stolarz takes the lives of ten teenagers who are all connected somehow, and shows how their lives can become so complicated in just one single day.
There's Nicole Bouchard, who is tired of her reputation as being the good girl and wants to change that by acting on feelings that she has had for quite some time. It won't only shock people but can hurt her best friend, Kelly Pickerel, who is in California, not only to visit her father, but her convict friend, Robby Mardonia, the guy she has been writing to. She desperately wants to be with him even though she already has a boyfriend, Sean O'Connell.
Sean, the guy who seems to be second-guessing all the choices he's made and now wants to change them. Then there's Maria Krito, who soon discovers that a best friend may not necessarily be someone who is willing to cut her, even though that's the only way for Sadie Dubinsky to finally become her friend. Sadie, the eleven-year-old who isn't the ideal size or weight or even the girl that her mother wants her to be, and the one that has to be constantly compared to her older, meaner sister, Ginger. Ginger Dubinsky, who has the chance to get back at Kelly for embarrassing her.
There's also Derek LaPointe, who soon finds out that looks can't get him the girl he wants, Mearl Aremian. Her odd nature may not be for Derek, but it can help others figure out their lives. Last but not least there's Joy Ryder, a fifteen-year-old waitress who is sick of all the childish boys that she has to deal with, and will learn a dark secret when she tries to get back at the one boy who made her life miserable.
Ten teens, ten stories full of complications and problems that will leave the reader wondering what happens to the lives around them.
BLEED is a very entertaining read that is much different from the other works of Laurie Faria Stolarz. Its deep messages and risqué language will make the reader feel pain, sorrow, and happiness for the characters, which are all well-developed. Readers will be pulled into every story, even if they don't like the person the story is about. Stolarz does her best to capture the hidden feelings that are felt by the person themselves.
As a warning, though, the language used is most definitely not suitable for kids in eighth-grade and below.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

change
My friend introduced this book to me about a year ago. I've read it three times and I plan to read it again. It's written from the perspective of 10 teenagers struggling with their own problems, yet somehow coming together at the same time. Just like all other humans in the world, they grow, learn, change, and bleed. While dealing with friends, love, family, and being on your own, it introduces you to the problems that teenagers from all different social classes have to deal with and makes you realize that nobody is perfect and sometimes what's best isn't exactly what you want.
READ THIS BOOK! I'm sure everyone can relate in one way or another.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

I'm a very big reader, and I usually don't give harsh critiques, but this book was AWFUL. If you're a fan of plot or good character development, don't read this book. In all but one or two chapters, teens end up having sex, and not good sex. It's the "I'm totally out of control and not in charge of my hormones" sex. If that's what you're looking for, then go ahead and read it, but otherwise this whole book is just a compilation of over-used stereotypical themes.

Loved it!
A great book. Very brave. You want to read about bullying, well here it is. Both subtle bullying and the most overt. Stolarz is brave to present a book with no simple ending. Should be required reading in college.

Bleed
I really like this book. There are some things that are very weird, but it is a pretty interesting read. I love the setup of the chapters and going through the points of views of everyone. The ending is really setup for a continued storyline.

I think my only issue with the book is that there is not more to the story. I wish it were continued even if it were only the next day that was explained.
