Perfect For Intro To Digital Art

I have been using digital modeling platforms for years, and i alwase wanted to learn how to animate and create models that have a higher ammunt of detail than imused to. So when i herd of Blender i was curious as to weathr or not it would be worth checkin out. it worked fine! Its just that the tutorials that i fund scattered across the internet werent good enough to aid me in honing my skills. So i turned to thes book... It was the best decision i ever made! the author [Roland Hess] does an acceptional job at describig to the reader the wrkings of this truely innovative program. its like he is actually sitting next to you, teaching you the progam bit by bit. the book is made up of sections that are all project based and utelize alot of creative thinking. i highly reccomend this book to anyone ranging from the novice designer to the seasoned graphical profesional.

    Pro's:
    -Very Enthusiastic
    -Detailed
    -Expressive, Interactive Art

    Con's:
    -Hard to stop reading

What would be higher than highly recommended ? You HAVE to read this book

This is the first time I have written a review on anything! ( I'm in my 60's so I have had plenty of time to do so had I had a reason ) Well I have a reason... this book is great ! I have read many books on 3d animation not only for Blender, but 3d Studio, Truespace, Maya etc. While reading this book I got the feeling as if I were sitting next to the author enjoying his wit and his desire to teach something he feels strongly about. This book is extremely well written. Roland hess has a great sense of humor which made the book that much more enjoyable, the art work was easy on the eyes and easy to understand. If you like art, 3d animation and blender specifically and you would like to learn blender. Look no further, this book is the best !!! Not only will you learn the open source software, but you will be taught by someone who WANTS you to learn it. To take it one step further after I submit this review,I am writing to the author to tell him personally how much I enjoyed his book

I should have bought this sooner

This book offers a far clearer, more accurate explanation of how Blender 3D works than any of the other books I've purchased.
