I have a certain compulsion to finish reading stories to see how they end. This book has put me on the road to recovery by being so horrifically bad that I could only force myself to go halfway before having to quit. It is pulpy in the worst sense of the word and reads like a teenage boy's wet dream, complete with a protagonist of immense size, power and wealth who thinks he knows exactly how the world should be run (and oh my god he's correct where others who are thousands of years old, 'wise' and experienced in ruling and diplomacy are strangely oblivious). To top it off he is bound to a small, non-threatening elf girl who is essentially his sex slave.

I know that this book is free in the nook store but I would encourage everyone to avoid it like the horrible drivel that it is.

Storyline was interesting - interests you right away, but there

Storyline was interesting - interests you right away, but there were sometimes too much detail and the accepted promiscuity killed the romantic allure for me. ................ A jock's dream, a girl's scream, (just my opinion, to each his own)

    To many words

The story would start to get interesting and then get bogged down in minor details that didnt matter. Im surprised he didnt describe taking a bath. If he stuck to the real storie it would have been half the length. I kept hoping for a good read but couldnt wait for it to end.
