    Brilliant read!

This was avery well written story. It didn't follow the usual formula of most historical romances. I enjoyed reading it-it's definitely a keeper to be reread :)

    A Moving Regency

Lord Granville is considering marriage to a young debutante and is incensed when be believes the young lady's older female cousin has given him the cut direct in her uncle's drawing room. Unknown to Granville, Lady Fortuna is blind and meant no disrepect to her cousin's suitor. Angered, Granville retaliates with a cool, hurtful remark to Fortuna and he leaves the gathering thinking she is overly fond of spirits because he witnessed her stumble when a relative assisted her to rise and leave the room. Now, Fortuna is set upon throwing other eligible gentleman in her young cousin's path to spite the toplofty lord, and Granville's course is to turn the disapproving Lady Fortuna up sweet and make her see that he is superior to any other gentleman that may express interest in her young cousin.

As skirmishes ensue between the lord and lady, Granville is stunned to realize his calculating and beautiful adversary is blind and that Fortuna is slowly capturing his heart. However, Fortuna's spoiled young cousin is set upon marrying the marquess for his wealth and position at any cost.

    Different!

When I read the synopsis for the story, I was a bit sceptical, but it was worth buying. The author was able to work the blindness in the story that made it flow and did not feel contrived. I recommend this one.

    Not bad

In an era where women wer to be perfect to breed heirs it was good. Unbelievable but good. I'll read it again
