I read the last book in this three book series first, then I read the first and second. I am so pleased that is how I read them because the first and and third books are so much better than the second. Deaver has a style all his own. I find his books enjoyable, fast and at times very funny. He does know how to write a gripping story. It just does not show in this book I am sad to say. Dont let that stop you from reading it though.... everybody has a bad day.

Not too good

This book was very slow & I was almost tempted not to finish it. I did b/c I wanted to see how it would end, but I didn't find it too satisfying. I wouldn't recommend this.

One star is one too many

Like several of the re-releases I've read, this is another horrible Deaver effort -- if I were Mr. Deaver, I'd stop releasing these books. I haven't found a good one yet. Bring back Lincoln!

Enjoyed it!!!

Mr. Deavers is very talented and Bloody River Blues is well written, exciting, and I am looking forward to reading his next. His style is unique, moving, and as I enjoy reading many authors' works, Deavers is right up there with the best of them.
