What a fun read! It's a great way to get together with 'the girls' and catch up with all the drama of life's ups and downs. You'll find someone you know in one of the characters and maybe a little of yourself as we'll.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I really enjoyed entering the world that Lennie Ross created and even missed the characters when I was done.
Definitely one to recommend to your friends! A five star read......

Catching up with the Girls
Blow me is an absolute must have. Now in my 40's with children, reading Blow Me, reminds me of my years when I was single and attempting to find a little piece of the world to call my own.Was this review helpful? The twist and turns these women go through left me smiling and laughing out loud. I appreciate that it wasn't so far fetched that yes these circumstances can and do happen.
The characters are so well done that you will be recognizing yourself or friends in them. I felt like the proverbial fly on the wall it is that well written
So I have to say if you need an escape every now and then or feel life is just spinning around you, pick up Blow Me and have an outing with the girls!
Thanks Lennie and I very much look forward to your next book and the movie!

Not just for ladies
I'm a 56 year old man, just finished reading "Blow Me" by Lennie Ross, and loved it. You may think that "chick lit" is only for women, but men can learn a lot about women by reading that genre, especially from "Blow Me". There were many times that it made me laugh out loud, but also yell things like "Holy S..." (very embarrassing when reading in a restaurant)! "Blow Me" is set in Los Angeles, where everyone has a title of Actor/Waitress, Actor/Plumber, Actor/Real Estate Agent, or similar. The three main characters, Skye, Dawn, and Chloe, are all in their late 30s (or so they say), dressing like they're in their late 20s, and are all looking for Mr. Right, but having little luck. Between Dawn's Jewish mother butting into her dating business, Skye's apartment fire at the most inopportune time, and Chloe's attemps to latch onto any single man she meets, there's plenty of action. The ladies each flit around on their own separate adventures, but those adventures intertwine at some of the oddest times, with the ladies growing up a bit more each time. Ms. Ross provides excellent character development, interesting twists and turns, and with chapter titles like "I'll Be Auditioning for the Role of Wife", "Look What the Yenta Dragged in", "Dinner Doesn't Equal Sex - Lunch Does", and my favorite "Three Cougars Walk into a Bar", you're in for a treat. Speaking of treats, there's even a "free sample" route through Beverly Hills included for no extra charge. I had a blast reading "Blow Me", and I look forward to the movie version, as long as Ms. Ross writes the screenplay. Brava, Ms. RossWas this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Just finished reading Blow Me during my brief summer vacay, very good!
This book was recommended to me by a girlfriend so I decided to give a read while on vacation, it was great! Blow Me follows the story of three lovely (and sometimes not so lovely) ladies struggling to make their way in Hollywood as they age. It's funny, touching, and wraps everything up with a great happy ending. If you like chicklit, I highly recommend! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
