Story only a liberal can love

Is there not enough liberal eco-nut propoganda between NYT, network TV stations, MSNBC, CNN, NPR, and even the bloated federal govt? Now this disease has to creep into fictional novels as well? I stopped reading Cussler the instant that I was only 8 pages into one of his newer books and he started trying to weave global warming talking points and scare tactics into the story. Haven't read another word he's wrote since and will not in the future. At least this book came out in the description and made it clear they were trying to spin the tired useless limp liberal yarn. Too bad we don't have negative stars as a rating option!

This is an enjoyable action adventure involving a new type of energy producing facility. This new facility will use bacteria to digest coal within the earth
producing methane gas which will then be used to turn turbines and produce electricity. The most interesting part is the substory about the greenhouse effect the burning of fossil fuels are creating. Overall it was a solid fast paced read.

    Disappointed

After all the hype Scientific American gave this. I was really disappointed. I had to really struggle to finish it, and with 20-20 hindsight, I should have quite reading in the middle.

Highly Recommended - a sleeper waiting to explode with action!

This book is really an excellent read! It is the kind of book that starts with a bang and then builds with excitement. The characters really pull a person into the story and it is a book one can't wait to finish!
