Very useful book to boost your training,
As an 'ancient' runner I have always been interested in the idea of The Zone (or Flow) and have just about every book that has come out on the subject. I particularly liked the practical nature of this book although I struggle with the author's method of nasal breathing thanks to a broken nose in my youth. His advice on listening to your body makes a lot of sense and I believe too many fitness books don't take this into consideration. I thought he could have expanded a little more on what The Zone actually is (Zone Mind, Zone Body) mentioned below has an excellent theory and description - but then again do we need to know what it is if we know how to get into The Zone? I think this and Palmer's book make an excellent combination for anyone serious about their health, fitness and performance.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
