Body for Life for Women: A Woman's Plan for Physical and Mental Transformation
My waistline expanded always regardless of what I did. I saw doctors, and tried to read several books before I found two that, believe it or not, really worked for my sisters and me. The books, along with the support and encouragement I received at from others have really helped me to continue to delve deeper into myself and issues with weight struggles. For the first time in 5 years I've begun to drop weight, feel good about myself and make the mind, body, mouth connection that Dr. Peeke refers to so often in her book. Definitely a MUST HAVE for any woman with ANY struggle with fitness, weight and health. Thank you

Inspirational yet practical!
I found this book to be easy to read, easy to understand and easy to implement once I made the hard decision to commit to change. Making life changes isn't an easy task but Dr. Peeke outlines how it can be done. There are many inspirational stories of REAL woman facing REAL day-to-day life challenges who have changed their health and bodies by using this program. I have recommended this book to all my co-workers who also want to make a positive change for their lives.

A reviewer
I have to say---I don't always go off of other's reviews, but I had already read Fit For Life, and loved it, and I read the other review on here about 'Build Your Mind, Your Body Will Follow', and I ordered it. It is an easy read, and boy did it make sense!!! We, as Americans, miss so much, and this book fills in so many gaps. I HIGHLY recommend 'Build Your Mind, Your Body Will Follow'

Body for Life for Women: A Woman's Plan for Physical and Mental Transformation
'Body for Life for Women' There are aspects of this book that help women who are at that age in life when their bodies are starting to change and want to fight those changes. This book takes a holistic approach on the subject and how a women's body responses to changes and exercises. It is pointless to try to win the weight loss game without understanding how our minds, our feelings, and our daily life all affect our bodies. This book not only helps you to loose weight but at the same time, to increase your energy and stress resilience while being satisfied with your healthy life. The Author does not offer any of the fad diets. I like the fact that she offers 'smart fats, carbs and proteins'. Dr. Weiss in his book 'The Backsmart Fitness Plan' (I highly recommend this book to everyone!) is also brief on the diet area, but similar as Dr. Peeke, he provides the a holistic approach to working your entire body(Over 100 Movements) for a healthy outcome that brings about great results without causing injuries and what and how to eat, breathe, sleep, exercise, think, and much more. Once you understand the rules, and follow them the results are just a natural outcome of the new life style that you adopt.
