I know nothing about the book, but I knew the author in the 1980

I know nothing about the book, but I knew the author in the 1980's and 1990's. He is quite the character but I would doubt that anything he wrote in the book was true. I seem to recall back then, that I had heard that he had taken a vaction in Viet Nam, but it is possible that he lied to the person I heard that from. If there is one notable thing that he has done that I know to be true, it would be his involvent in getting Ross Perot to drop his presidential candidacy, but even that was done because Scott lied. I see a review here that says: "Others can write what they like, but I haven [SIC] known Scott personally for many years and he is nothing but truthful and honest!" No one who knows Scott would say that about him, I suspect that is Scott reviewing his own stuff. If Scott were to write a true autobiography, I might actually buy it, he is such a character that his real story would be more interesting that what he pretends, but he would be admitting to a lot of wrong doing. I do not know if I can submit this review without giving a star rating, if I cannot I will give it a three, so as not to affect the average, which as I right this is 3.5. Scott - if you read this, I always liked you in spite of your quirks, but I feel potential readers need to know.

    Highly Recommended

You want intrigue? The first 90 pages moves slowly, as there is so much background that needs to be explained. But once the story takes off, you can't put the book down as it takes you into the depths of CIA intrigue and the world of black ops.
Scott Barnes is clearly the true definition of a patriotic American. If you want to read a true story that is suspenseful and frightening, then you don't want to miss reading BOHICA!
PS - Others can write what they like, but I haven known Scott personally for many years and he is nothing but truthful and honest!

UNVERIFIED CREDENTIALS, FALSE STORIES, AND AN INVESTIGATOR WHO USES ILLEGAL MEANS TO OBTAIN INFORMATION ON PEOPLE

THIS IS A POORLY WRITTEN BOOK, WRITEN BY A MAN WHO CLAIMS HIMSELF TO HAVE BEEN CIA AND NEVER WAS. THIS IS FALSE REPRESENTATION AND A FEDERAL CRIME. IT IS UNBELIEVABLE THAT AMAZON IS CARRYING THIS BOOK. ALL OF HIS STORIES ARE MADE UP, AND HE HAS MADE NUMEROUS THREATS TO PEOPLE BY TELEPHONE, AND THE FBI HAS DOCUMENTED THIS.

    Bizarre Book but very Telling

I bought this book when it first came out. It is very interesting. It has convinced me more than any other book that American P.O.W.s are still being held captive. I hope some day the truth will be told why our Government left our fellow soldiers behind.
