    Always on hand

I always keep this book handy! So far this book has helped me with just your everyday knots, my fishing knots, it has helped me always keep a secure load in my pickup truck, and even entertain friends who are simply interested in that little red book on the coffee table. It's a great way to learn new and easy knots, and also learn a little bit about where they came from. It's so interesting!

Jason Dalton is the Ultimate Knot Master

This book will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about knots, and some things you didn't even know you needed to know. It's written by a man known throughout the World, and Charlottesville, as the Supreme-Ultimate God King of Knots: Jason Dalton. Honestly, it's very well written and easy to understand, with many full color illustrations that teach you what you need to know. Even if you think you know knots, buy this book and learn from the Master.

Clear, accessible, and innovative knot book provides ranking system for each knot

THE BOOK OF KNOTS provides concise, step-by-step instructions on how to tie 200 knots. It includes excellent diagrams to aid the reader in visualizing each step. THE BOOK OF KNOTS is innovative among other knot books in that it provides an accurate ranking system for all knots included in the book. It rates each knot based upon strength, security, ease of tying, and ease of untying, to aid the reader in determining which knot would work best in an anchor system for a vertical rescue operation, in lashing a boat to a dock, or in tying a mattress to the top of a car. THE BOOK OF KNOTS divides its knot descriptions into five categories, based upon the type of knot, for easy reference. Overall, THE BOOK OF KNOTS is a clearly-written and stimulating reference on how to tie 200 practical knots, easily understood and accessible to everyone including rescue workers, Boy Scouts, outdoor enthusiasts, and those that want to expand their knot knowledge beyond mastery of the overhand.
