    Born Aware

I had the good fortune of being in attendance of the recent “I Can Do It” event held in the Washington D.C. area. John Holland gave a speech on one of the days and mentioned that some people may have expectations in hearing from a certain family member when attempting communication with the spirit realm. However, he mentioned that it is essential to be open to hearing from someone that you least expect. This caught my attention because both my adoptive mother and biological mother had passed away within 18 months of each other. I always held the subconscious intention that I would prefer to hear from my adoptive mother first, if I were to ever attempt communication from the “Other Side”. John Holland’s message reminded me to be less rigid. “Born Knowing” by John Holland is part autobiography and includes tips on ways to enhance intuitive abilities. The following is some of the compelling information contained in “Born Knowing”:
Fine-Tuning Your Awareness (pages 225-232): Holland shares ideas on how people can increase their own psychic skills.
Frequently Asked Questions (pages 203-212): He answers the most popular questions that are asked about the spirit world. The question and answer I found most interesting revolved around the different levels that exist in the spirit realm.
Our Parents (Pages 135-144): Heartfelt communication is transmitted between John Holland and some of the men and women who miss both and/or one of their parents who have crossed over
Spirit Boot Camp (Pages 73-82): John Holland shares the rewarding journeys that he experienced at The Arthur Findlay College.
“Born Knowing” is a great book for those who like psychic autobiographies with details on ways to increase intuition.

    I Also Recommend:

Highly recommend you read this book by John first!

John Holland is an incredible medium. Born Knowing was a very helpful book for me. I have read all of John's books and this is a good first read.It lets you meet him for the first time. You can feel the innocense of how John became who he is today. He writes as though you're right there with him. I also found this book to be very inspirational.

Read it in just two evenings!

I bought this book to take on vacation to read, but it didn't make it there! I started reading it the day I received it and by the next evening, I was finished. Having seen John on a local TV program, I could hear his voice while I was reading his story. When describing some of the demonstrations and group readings, I felt I was in the room with those people. Some of the readings he describes are so truly amazing, that you'll want to book a reading immediately. I had the pleasure of meeting John a few years ago when he did a reading for me. I had wondered how he came to the point in his life when I had met him. I wondered no more after I read his book. Enjoy his book, it will leave you wanting him to write another!

This book is not to be missed!

I bought this book as soon as it was released, and I finished it in a day and half. John describes his life story with fascination, and has a great sense of humor. I was amazed at his 'knowing' since his young childhood, and always perserved his seeking for the truth, never giving up. His intutions in guiding him to California and to England, made me realize my own psychic potential. The best part was the last chapters describing how to develop one's psychic abilities by meditation and psychic games. This book is a winner!

    Good stuff

This book took about 3 seconds to read. Not really but you get the idea. It put a nice swing to the whole after life thing. What I means is that it didn't feel creepy. I don't know much about speaking with the dead, but my impression is that sometimes it can come off as being a little creepy. Not here. Maybe that is John's style. One last thing to mention is that it was wonderful to learn about how John's abilities were developed. Having his personal story with the examples of how he communicated with spirits that have crossed over was a perfect blend to believe when you are not sure if you should. Kudos and Congrats to John for a great book.
