BORN TO LOVE is another great story in the Reborn Vampire series
BORN TO LOVE is another great story in the Reborn Vampire series by Caridad Pineiro. This series has fast become a must-read for me. I find myself totally involved in the characters and the world Ms. Pineiro has created for them. I was happy that my favorite character, the vampire Ryder Latimer and his new wife, Special Agent for the FBI Diana were still so much a part of this latest story. However, the main storyline is about Diana's best friend, Maggie, and her former partner, Special Agent David Harris, and a very sexy firefighter named Rafael Lazaro (even his name is sexy). And pardon the pun, but he has the hots for Maggie and is not afraid to let her know how he feels and what he wants. The question becomes who will Maggie choose? Was this review helpful? I always have a hard time writing reviews for romantic suspense stories because I don't want to spoil anything for other readers, but I want to relay how much I enjoyed reading it. So I will just say that David and Maggie have been in love for a very long time, but torn apart by a tragic accident that caused David to feel it was best for he and Maggie to go their separate ways. Then Rafe comes on the scene with no problem pursuing Maggie and as David struggles with his jealousy he's no longer sure he made the best decision. There are several plot twists in this new book and a multitude of new characters introduced as a new criminal terrorizing the city must be brought to justice. The suspense kept me completely enthralled and turning the pages way past my bedtime. The romantic scenes had me sighing and the sexy scenes were hot and steamy!! Overall another well-written captivating story that draws you in and keeps your heart going (for one reason or another) throughout the book. I can't wait for the next book, DIE FOR YOU which is due out at the end of December!
*I rcvd ARC ebook free from Ignite Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

I loved Maggie and David’s story. The conflict was conflict between was very well written. It allowed Maggie to understand David’s view from when he was hurt but also showed David another way to deal with his problem by watching how Maggie dealt with her even bigger problem. Diane and Ryder still have their conflicts and issues as Diane and the group solve another crime. This is a great addition to the series. Looking forward to the next book, Die for Love. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher and the author in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated in any way.
One thing that our author is good about is that she doesn’t change her female character just because she is married – she stays true to herself and her job. And as I read, I find myself combining two of my favorite shows on TV – think “Criminal Minds” and an old show called “Quincy”. And then these two shows met the paranormal (like “Grimm”) – hey, SyFy Channel are you listening?
Our author is smart in that she doesn’t reveal anything before its time. This is the reason that you will want to continually turn the page. The sex, romance, and the couples are just icing on the cake. But the meat of the story is the mystery that needs to be solved – bringing justice to whomever is the evil one committing the crimes. And the great news is that this series isn’t over yet. She will be having another book coming out titled Born to Die.

Not my favorite of the series but I still liked keeping up the characters, the relationship, the life changing events and love wins all. A very descriptive telling of events that make you feel like you are right there in the scene. When ever I get chance to preview novels by Caridad Pineiro, I jump on it. If you like mystery and little darkness, this series has it. The romance between the couples brightens the story line up.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. BORN TO SERVE by Caridad Pineiro is another exciting Paranormal
BORN TO SERVE by Caridad Pineiro is another exciting Paranormal Romance/Romantic Supense. "The Reborn series" #3, "The Calling" #11,but can be read as a stand alone. "Born to Serve" follows FBI agent David Harris, his former lover Maggie Gonzalez and Diana Reyes as they come to term with deception, secrets, danger, and righting past wrongs. With vampires, werewolves, and passion how can you go wrong with one of Ms. Pineiro's stories. She writes with passion and a true sense of right and wrong, oh, and yes she absolutely knows her romance, be it paranormal or suspense, she brings them together in a powerful story of love, sacrifice, and suspense. Another must read by this author. Emotional, intriguing and suspenseful! Received for an honest review from the publisher and/or author. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
