I love reading and I really like my gay fiction, but this is just horrible. The author spends more time describing labels and brands than actually developing characters that you can empathize with. Who cares what color or brand the characters shoes and jeans were and what cologne they wore. It's not as if these were used to capture someone's involvement in an interest. It was merely used as a tool to fill space. I found myself wanting to slap every single character in the book. None of them felt like anyone I would want to know. Was this review helpful? I was highly disappointed. The characters, dialogue, and story itself were all so superficial. I found myself reading through it quickly so that I can return it to the one who loaned it to me.
