Spicy historical western romance!
Review by Jen:
I picked up the ebook version of this book a while ago after seeing Beth Williamson promo this erotica western series. I'd been looking for more historical erotica and thought it sounded good. Besides, it's the first book in a series and we all know by now how much I love reading series. At any rate, this book sat on my ebook shelf for months and months. But then, recently I saw it waiting for me and decided to start reading. And I am glad I did.
I liked the characters of Nicky and Tyler. Nicky is haunted by the events that led her to go on the run and Tyler is jaded from his childhood and career path. But both were able to get past the obstacles and embrace life. I enjoyed the plot. I haven't run across many women fugitive stories and this one was well done. And now I'm anxious to pick up the next book in the series (which follows Nicky's rather large family), The Prize. I highly recommend if you like some spice in your historical western romance reading. And the whole series is available in ebook and print.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

A great western romance
The Bounty by Beth Williamson is cool twist on the bounty hunter story - this time, the outlaw is a woman! And what a woman - Nicky Malloy is tough as nails, she's had to learn to be, but also every inch a woman. The tragedies she's had to overcome would have devastated any average man or woman - but she has taken those tragedies and soldiered on, doing what she must in order to survive and hopefully one day get vengeance.
Tyler Calhoun is the epitome of the tall, dark, and handsome alpha man. He's the best bounty hunter out there - and he doesn't let anything get in his way, especially not emotions. He has also experienced almost overwhelming tragedy, and as a result became the baddest bad-ass around. No one messes with Tyler, and no one escapes him.
However, these two are not prepared for the feelings they have for eachother, and neither one of them know what to do about it. Their journey towards a happy ending, which doesn't seem possible for these two lonely people, is fraught with violence, misunderstanding, and heartache. Lots of emotion in this book, which translates into really touching love scenes (no pun intended) and Beth has a way of writing that just draws you right into the story.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

What A Storyteller!
What A Storyteller! This was my first Beth Williamson book..I am a huge fan of Linda Lael Miller and was anxious to find another author that wrote good western romance..Some of it out there is just horrid...I loved this book. I read it cover to cover yesterday. I am buying the rest of the " Malloy Family " books today..These books are sassy, and exciting to read...Beth Williamson is now one of my favorite authors..Love those Cowboys!!

excellent read
First time I have read this author and I couldn't put it down. It is a fast read almost wish it wouldn't end. I almost didn't buy it as I stray away from series derived books...today I am ordering the rest and can't wait to get them in the mail.
Niki the damsel in distress had the most heroic cowboy. He isn't perfect at protection or love but hey she's strong enough to correct and protect as well. If your contemplating this book I say don't delay.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

LOVED IT!
"The Bounty" is the beginning of the series for the Mallory Family. Beth Williamson is an awesome writter and I have enjoyed reading her stories. I think you will too.
As you continue reading the series, you feel like you're part of the characters and story lines from beginning to ene.0 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
